Ah, well if its just speculation not to worry too much but we had better keep an eye on things. If she is at the social we can hopefully find out a bit more about her :good:

Ok back to the planning side.

The prisoner capture bit is the far side of the site from the camp (as long as Taffy lets us camp where we want that is as I don't get an answer from him on that :? ).
So we have a long walk to the rear of the site we have a few options here.
1 We all walk over together Germans & Allies having a chat.
2 We walk on opposite sides of the site just as we will be when we get to the capture area Liri Valley.
3 We have some pre capture fun, either the Germans or the Allies go onto the site first and spread out all over the place. Then we send in the other side to chase them out/kill each one, as soon as the person is hit they then fall back to the rear of the site and get orders from the 2IC to take up defensive positions one side of the Valley.

Just for this the attacking force can have either 2 full LT bags about 60 per bag and go in 2 squads down each side of the site or just let them be immortal hits don't count it's just to give them some site use in the dark/dusk.

Now this poses an other idea when we go back to the camp we could do the same in reverse for the other team to go back to camp once dead.

Now have a think about this guys it could be that this may be more fun than the prisoner capture idea :happyswing: so just doing this both ways across the site may be all we need.

I know we don't want them all knackered but what do you think?

PS if you still want some fun prisoner capture could be worked in with this if the Yanks went in first and got caught by the Germans.

Im happy to be flexible on this Nigel as it is your baby, but my thoughts are:
1) Firefights in the dark are a waste of time, you cant see who you are shooting at its almost impossibe to keep command control.Thats why I think utilizing stealth works better.
2) night actions can be fun as CIA showed on there training day but people are going to be tired after a days fighting and are going to have to get some sleep for the next days fighting. The CIA thing was fun but I was glad when it was over and I could just chill! fighting back and forth across the site in the dark is going to be tiring and people can even get lost. If we do the prisoner capture we can have a hurricane lamp hung up high in the area were the prisoners are brought back to as a point of referance if people get lost.
So to be honest I think the prisoner capture idea would work best and would be easier to controll, also I dont see any problem with us all going out together having a chat on the way, it keeps it simpler , we all get to the right place have a breifing together and split there.

Having said that Nigel I dont have strong feelings on this and it is your baby, If you really want to do something differant of course Ill do by best to help with it :good:

German bookings looking a lot more healthy now :D

Please don't feel it's my baby we are equal on this.

If it was still light as we went over we could have the US go in first as Marsha said and have the Germans push them back before its dark.

However I am happy to stick with plan A :good:

To be honest after they have had a few drinks none of them may want a night game. :D

OK mate we will go with that then, Germans push them back untill we get to area, I think we will be too knackered and it will be too dark to it back in reverse afterwards :ghey:

I think we should get enough to have a go at it, Ive mentioned it to a few people who seem up for it :good:

Just a couple of questions Nigel

From your recent post am I right to assume Taffy has confirmed camping in the feild we wanted?

Is the toilet block there in working order and do we need to bring bog paper for people?

I noticed on one of your posts you mentioned the heat, I must admit I have been considering the possibility that it might be a scorcher, so I will bring a couple of 25 gallon water contaners we can put out in the feild if needed to refill water bottles :good:

Yes we are to camp there and toilets should still be there from last time we used that end of the site, I would say peope should bring some paper just to be on the safe side.
Any problems I will let you all know on to Taffy now to chase up points like post code for other end of site for 34th guys they will need to ring someone when they get close so we can get them in and hide them from the road.

Am also trying to get these http://www.apm-supplies.co.uk/rope-bangers-p-980.html

Great news we will have so many Germans I may ask a few of my friends to switch over the US on Sunday.

I am getting these in now louder than the others cost about £36 for about 120 bangs.
